UmojaSwitch was established by six banks back in 2006 as a consortium, with the purpose to provide shared electronic financial services. Every year they choose a destination that will fully carter for their annual retreat, and luckily this time they chosen Mbeya.

Kitulo National Park is the garden of God, named the Serengeti of flowers for its beautiful landscapes which allow flowers to blossom amazingly. The park blossoms between late November to Earlier March. Kitulo is rich with flowers, wildlife and its spectacular water-falls.

Everyday Mbeya organized a tour for UmojaSwitch members including their MDs, CEOs and board members to Kitulo National Park. Prior to the tour, our guide Mr. Shah Mjanja was invited to deliver an inaugural speech to open the conference that was chaired by all the participants of UmojaSwitch.

Shah Mjanja, presenting ‘Mbeya; Sights and Sounds’to the participants.

The presentation was an introduction to our beautiful City, covering stories and narratives, facts and issues that accumulated to the rise of the City; from Ibheya to Mbeya.

The following day all the 48 participants took a trip to Kitulo with Everyday Mbeya.
